Zichen (Lexi) Zhou

Zichen (Lexi) received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022 with majors in Molecular and Cell Biology and Cognitive Science and a minor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. During her time in the Bay area, she worked in a few labs and worked on projects ranging from systems neuroscience, mathematical modeling, to molecular neurobiology. Seeing how the brain can be understood at various levels of abstraction motivated her interest in bridging these different perspectives. She wishes to explore how complex functions emerge from its constituent biological structures across the molecular/cellular, circuit, and anatomical architecture of the brain.
